By purchasing from Bea’s Bettas, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Live Animal Disclaimer
All bettas sold by Bea’s Bettas are live animals and may display natural variations in color, finnage, and behavior. While every effort is made to accurately photograph and represent each fish, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, age, stress level, and monitor settings.
Once a fish has been delivered safely, Bea’s Bettas cannot guarantee long-term health outcomes due to factors outside of our control, including water quality, tank conditions, acclimation practices, diet, and compatibility with other fish.
Sales Policy
All sales are final. Due to the nature of live animal sales, returns, exchanges, and cancellations are not accepted once an order has shipped.
Shipping Policy
Shipping dates are scheduled every other Monday unless otherwise stated. Bea’s Bettas reserves the right to delay shipment due to unsafe weather conditions, carrier delays, or other circumstances that could place the fish at risk during transit.
Customers are responsible for providing a correct shipping address and ensuring someone is available to receive the package upon delivery.
Bea’s Bettas is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or incorrect customer information.
Weather & Temperature Policy
The safety of the fish is my top priority. Shipping may be delayed due to unsafe weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, storms, or carrier disruptions.
General shipping guidelines:
- Temperatures below 32°F may require Overnight Shipping only
- Orders may be delayed if temperatures fall below 25°F
- Temperatures above 85°F may require Overnight Shipping only
- Orders may be delayed during extreme heat above 95°F
Bea’s Bettas reserves the right to delay shipment if weather conditions are considered unsafe for live animal transit. Customers will be notified if a shipping delay is necessary.
Please make arrangements to receive your package promptly upon delivery, as exposure to outdoor temperatures can quickly harm live fish.
DOA Policy
In the event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), customers must follow the instructions outlined in the Store Policies page, including submitting timestamped photos within 20 minutes of delivery.
Failure to follow the DOA reporting requirements may void eligibility for replacement or refund consideration.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are expected to understand the basic care requirements of betta fish before purchase, including proper tank size, heating, filtration, cycling, and water quality maintenance.
Bea’s Bettas reserves the right to refuse service or cancel orders if there is reason to believe the fish may be placed in unsafe or unsuitable conditions.
Website Accuracy
Bea’s Bettas strives to ensure all information, pricing, and availability listed on the website is accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel orders if necessary.
Limitation of Liability
Bea’s Bettas shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use, care, or transport of any fish purchased from this website.
