Sales Policy

All sales are final. Due to the nature of live animals, returns and exchanges are not accepted.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy

In the rare event that a betta passes away during shipping, please follow the steps below carefully:

  1. Take a clear, timestamped photo of the betta in the unopened bag within 20 minutes of delivery. The betta and bag must be clearly visible in the photo.
  2. Email BeasBettas@gmail.com with:
    • Your order number or tracking number
    • The delivery time
    • Photos of the fish
  3. Report any damage to the shipping box or bag.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. However, I will work with you to either:

  • Refund the cost of the betta, or
  • Send a replacement fish if available

Customers are responsible for paying shipping costs again for replacement shipments.

Failure to contact me within the required time window may void the DOA guarantee.

Sick Arrival Policy

In the rare event that a betta arrives sick, stressed, or injured, please follow these steps:

  1. Check and record the temperature inside the bag. Heat stress or cold stress can sometimes occur during transit.
  2. Place the betta in a shallow container with conditioned water.
  3. Keep the fish warm at approximately 80°F using a heated tank or heat mat.
  4. Add tannins or botanicals to help reduce stress and support recovery.
  5. Email BeasBettas@gmail.com with photos and a description of the issue so we can discuss additional treatment options.

I care deeply about the health and wellbeing of every fish I raise and will do my best to help support successful acclimation and recovery whenever possible.
